Password Protection :- Keep you computer password protected with a complicated password (Alfa- Numaric).
Keeps Windows Firewall On:- You are advised to keep the windows firewall on, It is not more effective but can help you with some condition.
Internet Security:- Keep your Antivirus up to date, scan every document downloaded from internet before opening.
USB Drive:- It has been noted from years Most of virus comes from USB or Internet. Scan you Pen drive or external Hard drive before opening. If there is virus in you drive ,It can harm your computer hardware also.
